Competition:

1. These terms and conditions regulate the promotional #ChewsYourDestination competition (hereinafter the "Competition") offered by Joya Brands Proprietary Limited trading as Amajoya ("Amajoya"). Issue of the Competition is on the terms and conditions set out below, and participation herein shall be deemed acceptance by you of these terms and conditions.


2. The Competition period is valid from 01 February 2024 to 31 March 2024. (the "Competition Period").


3. The following people will not be eligible to win any prizes in the Competition and will be disqualified from participating in the Competition:
   
   
   1. Any director, employee, agent or consultant of Amajoya, their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
   2. Any supplier of goods and services to Amajoya in connection with this Competition; and
   3. Any participants who entered any other Amajoya competition and have won any prizes in the 3 (three) months leading up to the expiry of the Competition Period.


4. The competition is open to all South African residents who are 18 years and older as at the start of the Competition Period.


5. The Competition shall be run across:
   
   
   1. the Amajoya website at www.amajoya.com;
   2. the Amajoya Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/amajoyasouthafrica);
   3. the Amajoya Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/amajoya_candy/); and
   4. the Amajoya WhatsApp line: +27211376593


6. In order to be eligible for the Competition, you must during the Competition Period:
   
   
   1. Purchase any pack of Amajoya milkshake flavoured (strawberry, banana, or chocolate) Toffee Chews, and
   2. WhatsApp a clear photo of your till slip to the Amajoya WhatsApp line: +27211376593.


7. A participant may enter multiple times but only 1 (one) entry will be permitted per unique till slip. Multiple entries with the same till slip will be declared invalid. Entries which are unclear, illegible, inappropriate or contain errors will be declared invalid at the discretion of Amajoya.


8. Competition entries made prior to start or after the end of the Competition Period will not be considered.


9. Amajoya shall select 3 (three) Prize winners in total, selected via random draw from all valid entries received. All winners will be drawn on Monday 8 April 2024.


10. Amajoya shall attempt to contact each Prize winner via the number they entered the Competition on to make arrangements for the awarding of such winner's Prize. Amajoya shall make no more than 5 (five) attempts to contact a Prize winner for 5 (five) consecutive days. Should Amajoya be unsuccessful in making contact with a Prize winner, or Amajoya receives no response or feedback from such Prize winner after 5 (five) such attempts, Amajoya reserves the right to select another winner from all eligible entries to replace such Prize winner, and such Prize winner shall have no claim of whatsoever nature against Amajoya. Prize winners shall be solely responsible for ensuring that their correct details are provided to Amajoya, and Amajoya shall in no way be responsible or liable in the event that a Prize winner provides Amajoya with incorrect or inaccurate details and such Prize winner shall have no claim against Amajoya in such an event.


11. A Prize winner may not qualify or be eligible to win more than one Prize. In the event that a person is selected as the winner of a Prize more than once during the Competition, Amajoya shall be entitled to revoke any such subsequent Prizes, and Amajoya reserves the right to randomly select other winners from all eligible entries.


12. Subject to paragraphs 10 and 11, the selection of Prize winners shall be final.


13. All 3 (three) winners will be announced at the end of the Competition Period on the Amajoya website (https://amajoya.com/), the Amajoya Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/amajoyasouthafrica/) and the Amajoya Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/amajoya_candy/) respectively. By entering into the Competition, you hereby expressly consent that, in the event that you are selected as the winner of a Prize, Amajoya may publish your entry and your name on its aforementioned website, Facebook and Instagram pages.

Prize:

14. A total of 3 (three) electronic Travelstart travel vouchers valued at R50,000.00 (fifty thousand rand) each (the "Prizes" or "Prize") shall be awarded to the 3 (three) Prize winners.


15. Voucher codes cannot be redeemed for cash and may not be combined with any other coupon/offer/discount or promotion offered by Travelstart, or any of its partners. This includes flight sales and/or other subsidised fares.


16. A voucher is only redeemable by booking any flight, hotel, bus, car rental or holiday package on or through the Travelstart website (www.travelstart.co.za). Vouchers may also be used to purchase any Travelstart product together with a flight booking.


17. Voucher codes are case sensitive.


18. Vouchers are valid for a period of 3 (three) years from date of issue.


19. For any remaining balances, Travelstart will issue a new voucher for the balance, valid for 3 (three) years from date of issue. This will issued automatically after redeeming any voucher code should any balance remain.


20. Voucher balances can be confirmed via email to the appropriate Travelstart contact or by contacting Travelstart's customer service team directly.


21. The vouchers will be emailed to the Prize winners once all their details have been finalised.


22. Competition entrants' personal information will not be shared with any third party other than Travelstart (where required to give effect to the Competition) or used by Amajoya except as provided in terms of paragraph 23 below.
    
    Processing of Your Personal Information:
    
    
    1. In accordance with section 18 of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA") you are hereby expressly informed that by submitting your entry into the Competition you are providing Amajoya with your personal information and that, by doing so and in terms of section 11 of POPIA, you hereby voluntarily and expressly consent to Amajoya processing your personal information for the following purposes:
       
       
       1. to provide or manage any information, products and/or services requested by you pursuant to your engagement with Amajoya;
       
       
       2. to establish your needs, requirements, and preferences in relation to the products and/or services provided by Amajoya;
       
       
       3. to allocate a unique identifier to you for the purpose of securely storing, retaining and recalling your personal information from time to time, regardless of whether you conclude an agreement with Amajoya;
       
       
       4. for general administration purposes pertaining to your participation in the Competition including sharing of your personal information with Travelstart (where and if required);
       
       
       5. to improve the quality of Amajoya's products and services;
       
       
       6. to analyse your personal information collected for research and statistical purposes;
       
       
       7. to transfer your personal information across the borders of South Africa to other jurisdictions should it be required in the legitimate pursuit of Amajoya's business requirements;
       
       
       8. to identify products and services which might be of interest to you, as well as to inform you of such products and/or services by means of direct marketing; and
       
       
       9. to contact you in the event that you are declared the winner of the Competition.
    
    
    2. Amajoya will only process your personal information in a manner consistent with the provisions of its Privacy Policy as well as for the purposes set out in these terms and conditions.
    
    
    3. You are further informed of your right to object to the processing of your personal information, however, should you so object you hereby acknowledge that your participation in the Competition will be cancelled, as the processing of your personal information as set out herein is a mandatory requirement for your participation in the Competition.
    
    
    4. Amajoya will not process your personal information for purposes of direct marketing as envisaged in terms of section 69 of POPIA. However, should you indicate at any point during your interactions with Amajoya that you consent to direct marketing from Amajoya, you are entitled to withdraw such consent at any later stage and such a withdrawal of consent shall not have any effect on your participation in the Competition.
    
    
23. Amajoya hereby reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, and hold void, amend, or cancel this offer or the Competition without any notice or liability whatsoever.


24. Individuals eligible for the competition: The Competition is open only to residents of the Republic of South Africa who are over 18 years of age. Directors, employees, and agents (including advertising agencies) of Amajoya, and their immediate families are specifically excluded from entry.


25. Competition disclaimer: Amajoya, Travelstart and its associated companies, directors, agents, employees, and contractors assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, damage, death, personal injuries, defamation, invasion of privacy or claims based on publicity rights arising in connection with this promotional offer through the Competition.


26. System Failure: No member of Amajoya shall be responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, internet or computer malfunctions, errors in transmission or any condition beyond the control of Amajoya which may cause the Competition to be disrupted or corrupted.


27. Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above terms and conditions will result in immediate disqualification of the participant or entrant.
