AMAJOYA IS BIG ON SUSTAINABILITY
Our network of trusted suppliers is carefully vetted and selected because of their quality standards and sustainability beliefs to stock our kitchen with a consistent source of good quality ingredients.
AMAJOYA CONTAINS NO ARTIFICIAL COLOURS AND FLAVOURS
Artificial colours and food dyes can be unhealthy and are also sometimes tested on animals. We only use natural colours, flavours and extracts.
AMAJOYA STEERS CLEAR OF GMOS
Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are living organisms whose genetic material has been artificially manipulated through genetic engineering. Our products contain no ingredients that have used biotech or been manipulated.
AMAJOYA IS NOT INTO HYDROGENATION
Some food companies use hydrogenation – a process that turns liquid unsaturated fat into solid fat by adding hydrogen – to help increase shelf life and reduce costs. During this process, a type of fat called trans-fat is made, which can negatively affect heart health and cholesterol levels. Our products are free of hydrogenated fats.
AMAJOYA USES REAL DAIRY
When it comes to butter and milk, only the best will do.
Amajoya loves real cocoa, double refined. We source our cocoa from Bensdorp.
A member of the Barry Callebaut group and the world’s leading supplier of high-quality cocoa and chocolate products, it was the importance they place on sustainable production and best practice that sealed the deal for us.
With innovative sugar-free technology that delivers in taste, when you choose the Amajoya Sugar-Free Collection, you can be sure you’re getting a real product made with the best ingredients, integrity and a whole lot of love.
AMAJOYA SUGAR-FREE HAS A LOW GI
Our Sugar-Free Sweets are low glycaemic index (GI), which means your blood sugar response is greatly reduced and occurs slowly over a long period of time.
AMAJOYA SUGAR-FREE USES LOW LACTOSE DAIRY
Lactose is a sugar found in milk products that, in some people, can cause undesirable effects. Our products contain low lactose dairy.
AMAJOYA SUGAR-FREE IS FREE OF NON-NUTRITIVE SWEETENERS
Most sugar-free confectionery uses intense nutritive and bulk sweeteners like Aspartame, which are 200-600 times sweeter than sugar, and have raised health concerns. Not us.
